(party styling and photo credits: Era uma vez... o sonho perfeito)

The party theme you already know (since we spoke of it here, here and here )... and these photos don't fool you. But what we have not told you was how we got there. Well so here it goes...
Elisete's was turning 60, and her sons and dear husband wanted to prepare her a surprise party. After their contact, we sat and talked a bit about the party and of course about the birthday girl.
Being a surprise party, and not having the opportunity to speak with the star, we had to scoop as much information through his family as possible. From here we find the theme of the party... it turns out that Elisete had been a seamstress for many years, and even today, she likes making special pieces.
Well we had the theme, so we set off for another adventure, and define the color pallete. One thing was certain one of the symbols had to be a vintage sewing machine. All set and done, we start by designing the invitations and then send to the guests, catering choosed, and the graphic material printed, cut and pasted. The following step was defining all the details of the decoration.
The space was chosen by Elisete's husband, and after our inspection of the site we established our styling project. Yes! Do not be amazed, we truly (re)decorated all the space, and by that we mean we only didn't paint the walls :) project done and approved, on the party day was only put everything in order. After replaced the tables, covered them with our beautiful cloth, defined spaces for catering, set all the china that would be used along the buffet, and of course at the desserts table, we start styling the place that would be dedicated to sewing, and where guests could leave messages for the birthday girl.
The vintage Singer sewing machine was mandatory! After that was only add some beautiful pieces related with the theme party: some fabrics within the tones of the party, ribbons and buttons, one buste, the tape-measure, and of course the ironing board, and a vintage iron. But, the history of this board we leave to another day. Go passing by, because this history has lots of adventures!
