Sob este ponto de vista, além das fotografias que tiramos, em quase todas as nossas festas pensamos e desenhamos o que chamamos "canto das mensagens". Um pequeno recanto, decorado ao pormenor, sob a temática da festa, onde os convidados podem sentar-se e calmamente escrever os seus desejos, emoções, ou dedicatórias. No final cria sempre uma dinâmica muito engraçada na festa, pois até os mais tímidos o querem fazer. Na realidade só custa começar, e assim que aquele amigo ou familiar mais extrovertido abre o bar das palavras, todos correm para experimentar.
Na festa da Elisete criámos este cenário que vos mostrámos aqui. Ficou uma verdadeira réplica de um atelier. Além da máquina vintage, pertencente à família, e que fizemos questão de usar, encontrámos um objecto que nos fascinou! Após horas de pesquisa sobre artigos vintage na área da costura, e apenas nos surgir máquinas (de todos os tamanhos e feitios), eis que nos surge um objecto maravilho, tão especial, e do qual iremos falar hoje.
Um objecto em óptimo estado de conservação, datado dos anos 60, trazida de uma casa alentejana, que se enquadrava perfeitamente na temática. Era isto mesmo que faltava para complementar o espaço que visionámos. Não vamos criar mais suspense... trata-se da tábua de engomar, em madeira, forrada a ferro na zona de pousar o ferro de engomar. Uma verdadeira relíquia!
Então como é que a descobrimos? Pois bem, já todos sabemos que o facebook tem tudo, não é verdade? E, para não fugir a esta premissa, foi mesmo lá que encontrámos esta fantástica página: Vintage Cascais Online. Adorámos! Têm peças lindísssimas. E, nós que adoramos peças vintage foi ouro sobre azul.
A questão aqui foi que só a descobrimos dois dias antes do evento. Já nos tínhamos mentalizado que iríamos usar outras peças. Ia ficar giro na mesma, mas não ia ter aquele encanto. Pusemo-nos em contacto com a Vintage Cascais, e para mal dos nossos pecados, não estavam na zona... estavam no Douro, provavelmente também à procura de mais peças. Perdemos as esperanças, até porque já passava da meia-noite. Mas, no dia seguinte tínhamos uma simpática mensagem a dizer que iriam tentar arranjar uma pessoa para se encontrar connosco para fazer a entrega. Ficámos em pulgas!
E, não é que passadas umas horas veio a resposta que tanto esperávamos. Super contentes, iríamos ter esta peça tão bonita, e tão cheia de história na nossa festa. No dia do evento, logo pela manhã, encontrámo-nos em Cascais com uma representante da marca que nos fez a entrega da tão esperada tábua.
Ficámos encantadas com o serviço, disponibilidade e, claro, a qualidade da peça vintage. Obrigado Vintage Cascais!

We all like to remember special moments, whether as a couple or with family and friends, it always fell so good being a little bet nostalgic. Don't you think ?
So besides the photos we took, in almost of our parties, we design what we call "the message post". A small nook, decorated in detail, using the same theme of the party, where guests can sit quietly and write their desires, emotions, and dedications. In the end it always creates a very funny dynamic into the party, because even the most timid one want's to do it. In reality only costs begining... the friend or relative more outgoing opens the word bar and everyone rushes to try it.
At Elisete's party we created this scenario that we already showed to you here. It was a true replica of sewing atelier. Besides the vintage machine belonging to the family, and that we really wanted to use, we find out an object that fascinated us! After hours of research in vintage stuff, only sewing machines appeared. But at one point this wonderful object appears. It's was so special that we immediatly fell in love with it. And today we'll talk to you about the history behind this vintage shop.
An object in excellent condition, from the 60's, brought from a home in Alentejo, which fits perfectly with the theme party. It was really what we needed to finish the project. Let's not create more suspence... it's an ironing board, made from wood, lined with iron piece to land the hot iron. A true relic!
So how did we find it? Well, we all know that facebook has everything, isn't it? It was there that we found this fantastic page: Vintage Cascais Online. We loved it! Have gorgeous pieces. And , we love vintage so it was the cherry on top of the cake.
The only problem was that we found them two days before the event. We already had in mind that we would use some other pieces. It would be wonderfull to, but would not have that charm. So we contact with Vintage Cascais, but they weren't here... they were in the Douro, probably looking for more pieces. We truly lost our hope, because it already had past midnight. But the next morning we had a nice message saying that they would try to get a person to meet with us to make the delivery. We were so excited!
Few hours passed came the news that we desired most: we would have this beautiful piece, so full of history in our party. On the day of the event we met in Cascais with a representative of the brand that made the delivery of the long awaited ironboard.
We were thrilled with the service, availability and of course the quality of the vintage piece. Thank Vintage Cascais !
